EAST BRANCH, N.Y. — The holiday season is set to shine a little brighter in the Town of Hancock as the East Branch Volunteer Fire Department prepares to welcome families for its annual Breakfast with Santa event. The festive gathering will be held on December 20 at the East Branch Fire House, located at 29 Bridge Street, East Branch, NY 13756, with breakfast served from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Young visitors will have a special treat when Santa Claus arrives from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., giving children the chance to sit on Santa’s lap, share their Christmas wishes, and receive a gift to take home.
The morning menu will feature a hearty, home-style spread including eggs, sausage, pancakes, home fries, and toast, along with coffee, tea, orange juice, and hot chocolate—perfect for warming up on a December morning.
The breakfast is offered as a free-will donation, and any donations or proceeds will directly support the East Branch Fire Department. Funds raised help the department maintain equipment, support training, and continue its mission of protecting East Branch and the surrounding communities.
Organizers say the event is a cherished local tradition and hope to see a strong turnout.
“We look forward to welcoming families, friends, and neighbors for a fun and festive morning,” the department shared. “Your support helps us keep our community safe.”
For residents seeking a joyful start to the holidays—and a chance to meet Santa before he begins his busiest week of the year—the East Branch Fire House will be the place to be.
