town square
You will notice that the Hancock Town Square has gone dark in the evenings this month and next. Sadly this is because NYSEG has raised our electric costs to nearly five times our normal rate.

These sudden, and outrageous rate increases are putting a real strain on our entire community, and now even our Town Square. So now we need your support.

As we fight these unfair charges, we are asking for any donations, no matter how small to help keep the lights on in the heart of Hancock.

Please consider donating to our IRS Approved 501c3 charitable organization at this link:

Every contribution helps, and we thank you for supporting our community. We also encourage all residents to write to NYSEG and complain about these ongoing issues and rate increases across our entire community, and to your local congressional leaders such as Rep. Josh Riley who is personally taking on NYSEG and these enormous rate increases.

We hope this outreach will help bring welcome relief for our senior citizens and our local families struggling with these rate increases as well!
